
Most of us have fear for one or the other things. Many people have fear for tiger, cockroach, snake, darkness, height, exam, public speech, old age, death or particular diseases etc. In all these cases we have stimulations.
When a child born, then that child will not have fear for anything. Gradually adults or circumstances creates fear in that child. As we saw many children playing in dark room or playing with animals or playing in heights that shows no fear in that age. When fear for anything is continuous and disturb that person’s day to day life or his thought process, then we will call it as phobia.
Phobia is a persistent, excessive, unrealistic fear of an object, person, animal, activity or situation. It is a type of anxiety disorder. A person with a phobia either tries to avoid the thing that triggers the fear, or endures it with great anxiety and distress. Some phobias are very specific and limited. In this situation that person has continuous fear with or without stimulation. Now a days we are seeing many people suffering from fear of Covid-19.
Fear is one of the emotions, so it is present in every animal and it is one of the the defense mechanism of our body but when it crosses the limitations, then it gives most difficulty for that person and also to his family members. Sometimes fear of fear disturbs that person more. Sometimes this fear may be illusion, hysterical or due to over care towards loved ones.
This fear or phobia becomes gigantic and it creates disastrous in life. It mainly disturbs his/her appetite, sleep, health and work, means it disturbs their day to day life. It may start in any age.

Along with this, they need to take care of nutritional diet, positive thinking, cheerful life with physical exercise and mindfulness meditation.
